What I get:
– Air vent car mount
– Metal piece in various sizes and shapes
Material:
– Body: Hard plastic in high gloss finish
– Padding: Soft rubber
– Rim: Polished aluminum
The overall workmanship is quite impressive, feels very solid and no shrink marks on the surface. Most of the details is well addressed, nothing like the other bulky cheap car mounts.
Some spotlights on the design:
– Extremely compact, smallest I’ve ever seen in the market. Hardly noticeable when place to the air vent grid.
– Magnet is REALLY strong, it took me some effort to remove the metal piece from the padding.
– Lobster claw with strong spring that holds the grid firmly. I noticed that there were two soft padding underneath the claw, prevent the air vent grid from scratching.
– The head is flexible, I can turn my phone to favorable viewing angle effortlessly when driving.
– Fine polished aluminum rim, looks really classy.
There is one thing you should know about before using it for the first time:
– Get a protective case for your cellphone, stick the metal piece to the case instead of your cellphone. I don’t feel comfortable attaching the metal piece directly to mine as I am not 100% sure it won’t leave scratch marks. The opposite side is fine though as the edge was polished. You will see what I mean once you get the product.
Other than that, this one is almost flawless. Extremely small, strong magnetic force, nice workmanship. A bit more expensive but worth the price. Highly recommend.

First of all, it is very small and lightweight but feels very robust. The spring clip is strong that can grab the fence really firm.
The magnet is very strong. Hit the bump once pretty hard but my 6+ stayed where it was, not even making a move.
Last but not least, love the turnable design. I can easily make my phone face to any angles and rotate vertically or horizontally, really convenient.
Perfect little car mount, love it!
