Ok, so I was super excited when F-color sent me this cable to test, as on my own I already purchases 2 others that I have been using for the past year. These cables are the best I have ever used.
I’m sure most of you reading this will say…. how can a simple cable deserve such a great review or be that wonderful… well read on and I will tell you how.
First off LOOKS… this cable as well as any cable they offer all look beautiful. Colors match well and they are pure and clean colors. They do not flake off or wear off or smudge… they are actually anodized metal housing and high quality braided sheaths over the actual cables. The braided sheath provides ample protection from the usual breaks and tears that the stock Apple cable can so easily suffer. This cable will put up with abuse and look good doing it.
Secondly FIT AND FINISH… this cable as well as the other 2 F-color cables I own are made with pure precision. They sit perfectly in a device, transfer POWER and DATA without fail every time. I’ve plugged in iPads, iPad minis, iPhones and iPods and all worked perfectly, charged and transferred data in and out perfectly. I can really rely on these cables day and night, as I leave my phone charging at night and use it as an alarm clock and NEVER have to worry about this cable charing my phone. Did I also mention that this cable is 6.6 feet long! That is amble length to route the cable through a desk, or around a computer, etc. I ever plug it in at an outlet near my couch and still have enough room to have my phone right next to me, charging away so I never lose a single percentage of battery.
Third and I CANNOT STRESS this enough… these cables are CERTIFIED to meet Apples specifications and have their MFi program certification. This means that the cable will transfer data at proper speeds, sync perfectly through iTunes and Photos app, as well as provide the EXACT voltage necessary for charges and not ruin your battery. Using a non-MFi certified cable can lead to issues as well as total warranty voids…. so don’t take the risk… buy a cable like this that IS CERTIFIED through the MFi Apple certification program.
I have only 1 teeny tiny quibble about this particular cable. Since this cable is rose gold and housed in a braided fiber like material… it can pick up a bit of dirt that is visible. The other cables I have are a combination of white and bright neon and do a better job of hiding dirt. This cable wouldn’t be the best choice in a dirty environment. Bedside, Office, in the Car, for a gift, etc… all other situations this cable will stay looking bright and beautiful… working for years to come and never let you down!
I honestly cannot recommend these cables enough. Rock solid build and looks!

|Works with iPhone 6/6+ otterbox cases,
First of all, it was very important to find a charger that would fit my iPhone 6 and 6 plus with an otter box case. I’ve had cables in the past that were rugged, but were too bulky for the space allowed with the iPhone case. Also it’s refreshing to have a company stand behind their product, after you receive your product you can register the cable and receive a 12 month warranty.
Second of all, the color is great, the pearlized pink makes an attractive presentation, and I’m not a pink person. The braided cord makes the cord feel very substantial, like it can take a beating and keep going with style. I’ve bought several lighting charger cords, some arrived dead on arrival or only worked for a day. This charger has never given the dreaded “not a supported accessory” message, so that’s a bonus.
The length is perfect for the bed, it can be plugged in and I can still keep my phone plugged in. Some chargers keep you chained to the wall, not this charger. I’ve bought another charger from this same company, I’ve been super happy with it as well.
I decided to choose a braided charger, as others don’t seem to fit the bill, they tear up in a month or two. As I mentioned earlier, I was provided this charger for free in exchange for a review. I would definitely purchase this charger, maybe in another color (I mentioned I’m not much of a pink gal), but definitely would purchase this product again if I needed to.
It’s nice that they provide a Velcro strap, so you can keep your cord neat and tidy. I keep cords in my vehicles, home and work bag and it’s nice to have something that comes with it to help keep it together.

|Sturdy Reliable Lightening Cable,
The cord itself is a vibrant, shiny rose gold (to a layman I would describe it as a sophisticated light pink color) and matches the metal connectors perfectly. I took the pictures below under a daylight bulb lamp to try to provide the most helpful information as far as color is concerned. Having a cord that is 2 meters / 6.6 feet long makes charging my iPhone significantly more convenient then using a regular length cord; for example, I no longer have to sit in the one uncomfortable seat in the local coffee shop just because it is the one with the power outlet next to it. The cable is obviously not pulled taught against the ruler so it is a very rough measurement but I wanted to show everyone that you are getting the cable length that you are paying for. I have used my F-color lightening cables for both charging and syncing and have never received an error message unlike every other aftermarket cable I have tried.
Another feature that is important to me is that it works with my cases. I have an iPhone 5s and iPad Air both in Otterbox defender cases and the cable has no problem with this unlike some of the clunkier cables on the market.
F-color stands behind their products and it is very easy to register your new cable for its warranty. All the information for the warranty is in the colorful small booklet that comes with the cable(s) in the smart minimalist F-color packaging.
If you are looking to purchase a Lightening to USB cable I would not hesitate to recommend this cable or any F-color braided cable as my experience with them has been stellar.
