I received my OnyxVolt 4 pack of cables today and all of my 4 cables are working as expected. So I was alarmed to find all these folks complaining about them in the comments. Also all the photographs of melting plugs and “no charging” messages. I will of course update my review if any of my 4 cables stop working, but I will also warn all the reviewers out there with cables which look like the stock Apple Plug without the black and blue OnyxVolt logo – you probably didn’t order from the right seller! I get it if you are mad, because you didn’t check the seller’s name was OnyxVolt, but you can’t blame Chevrolet when your Ford breaks down!

So prospective buyers beware and ONLY buy from OnyxVolt and NOT “EZ Tronix”. I did and am happy. The cables are as advertized and work on my iPhone 6.

Anything changes and I will eat my words, but until then, don’t buy from EX Tronix and don’t trust any pictures of crappy cables without seeing that black blue logo. Period.
