This solved a “muddy sound” problem that coincided with a dropped phone and broken screen. But it took me three disassemblies to troubleshoot that part of the problem!

This is not an original iPhone part. The part is a direct replacement for the iPhone 5S however the actual speaker is smaller than the original. My phone got wet and the earpiece speaker was very faint and not clear sounding. There are no instructions included with the part. Just YouTube it. Installation was pretty easy as long as your comfortable working with tiny screws and ribbon cables. The replacement speaker did fix my issue but the sound is not a loud as it used to be.
